Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and Transfer to Bwindi

Your day begins with an early morning departure from your hotel or the Airport, as you set off on a scenic drive to the park in Southwestern Uganda.

As you journey through the picturesque countryside, you’ll be treated to vibrant small towns, charming villages and breathtaking views of rolling hills. The ever-changing landscape will captivate your senses while providing ample opportunities for memorable photographs. Along the way, you’ll make several stopovers to stretch your legs, indulge in a delicious lunch, and savour tasty snacks.

Arriving at Bwindi in the evening, you’ll be warmly welcomed at your lodge, where all preparations have been made for your stay.

Take this time to relax and unwind, reflecting on the anticipation of the incredible gorilla tracking experience that awaits you the following day.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking and Cultural Encounter

Enjoy an early morning breakfast and thereafter head out to the park headquarters for a Pre-trek briefing.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature as you trek through the dense forest, guided by experienced trackers who will lead you to the gorilla family allocated to you. The encounter with these gentle giants is simply awe-inspiring. Witness their playful interactions, observe their unique behaviours, and marvel at their sheer magnificence up close. After an exhilarating day of gorilla tracking, you’ll have the opportunity to delve into the vibrant culture of the Batwa community. Discover their fascinating way of life, learn about their traditions, and engage in cultural activities that provide insights into their rich heritage.

Day 3: Return to Entebbe with a stop at the Equator in Masaka

As your safari comes to a close, you’ll depart from Bwindi with a sense of fulfilment and gratitude for the unique experiences you’ve had. You will wake up early and have breakfast before you start your drive to Entebbe where your safari will officially end. You will have several stops along the way for lunch, photography and souvenir shopping including the stop at the Equator in Masaka.

Your driver will drop you off in Entebbe or If you have an onward flight on the same day at Entebbe International Airport for your departing flight out of Uganda.
