Itinerary
Day 1: Drive to Ishasha
Depart early for Ishasha in Queen Elizabeth National Park, with a lunch break in Mbarara. Check into your lodge before an evening game drive to spot tree-climbing lions. Overnight stay at Ishasha Wilderness Camp (High End) or Ishasha Jungle Lodge (Midrange), with lunch and dinner provided.
Day 2: Game Drive in Ishasha and Transfer to Bwindi Forest
Enjoy breakfast, then embark on a morning game drive in Ishasha to see lions and other wildlife. After lunch at Savannah Resort, proceed to your next accommodation. Stay at Buhoma Lodge (High End) or Silverback Safari Lodge (Midrange), with all meals included.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience
After breakfast, attend a briefing at the park headquarters before trekking through the forest to see gorillas. Lunch back at the lodge, followed by a leisurely evening. Overnight at Buhoma Lodge or Silverback Safari Lodge, with all meals included.
Day 4: Lake Mburo Activities
Travel to Lake Mburo after breakfast. Stop for lunch in Mbarara, then check into your lodge. Enjoy a boat cruise to view hippos, crocodiles, and birds, followed by an evening game drive. Accommodations include Mihingo Lodge (Upmarket) or Lake Mburo Safari Lodge (Mid-budget), with all meals provided.
Day 5: Horseback Safari and Return to Kampala/Entebbe
Post-breakfast, take a horseback safari to see various animals and birds. After lunch at the lodge, begin your journey back to Kampala, stopping at the equator for photos and craft shopping. The day includes breakfast and lunch.
