On October 8, 2020, Uganda unveiled a pair of tigers at the Uganda Wildlife Education Center (UWEC), therefore, UWEC is among the very few places in Africa where you can see, hear and smell the tiger up close. In addition, the behind the scenes experience at UWEC is arguably the best development on site so-far. This option gives visitors an opportunity to go into the cages, to feed, treat and times even touch the animals with the guidance of their keepers. It is a 3 hour once in a lifetime experience.
